De asemenea, se mai men\u021bioneaz\u0103 \u0219i c\u0103 seria Core i5 va primi un upgrade, din punct de vedere al num\u0103rului al firelor de execu\u021bie per nucleu, a\u0219adar i5-9600K va dispune de 6 nuclee \u0219i 12 fire de execu\u021bie, fiind echivalentul unui i7-8700K. Un upgrade pentru Core i3 este iar\u0103\u0219i posibil, dar momentan nu este nimic cert.<\/p>\n<p>Noile procesoare vor fi compatibile cu pl\u0103ci de baz\u0103 ce con\u021bin unul dintre aceste chipseturi: H370, B360, Q370 \u0219i H310; drept urmare nu va exista compatibilitate cu pl\u0103cile de baz\u0103 deja existente pe pia\u021b\u0103, cel pu\u021bin nu oficial\u0103.
